12. Tare Option
After setting the back-light function, press the ZERO key.
TARE
Press the TARE key until the display shows On or Off.
On means that you can program tare while saving a
PLU and Off means that you can not program tare while
saving a PLU. (Refer to 5. How to Save a PLU)
ZERO
Press the ZERO key to save this setting then you will go to
normal mode.
13. How to Charge the Battery
If you have the low battery, the scale shows . At this time, charge the battery
by using the adapter. Note that only rechargeable battery is available.
When the red lamp is on, it means that the battery is charging. It takes for 4 hours
to charge the battery.
When the green lamp is on, it means that charging is finished. (If you want to
fully charge the battery, charge it one more hour.)
Low battery
When the battery is low, the scale shows . And then economize power.
Therefore you can't use back light function after 1 hour. Note that you can
use back-light function by pressing the EL key, but it shorten operating time.
If you do not use the back-light, you can use the scale for 67 hours.
Note : You can set the back-light function.
(Refer to 11. How to Set the Back-light function.)
